United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2023-2025

The United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF), also referred to as the “Cooperation Framework” (CF), is the key UN strategic document to support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Lebanon and for the period 2023-2025.

The CF ensures that UN entities conduct their activities towards common goals, identified jointly with the Government, development partners, and the people of Lebanon, in the most effective, efficient, and prioritized way. It serves as the core accountability mechanism between the UN and the Government of Lebanon, as well as between and among UN agencies and partners, to ensure collectively owned development results. The CF serves as the collective foundation for the UN Country Team’s (UNCT) programmatic work for the next three years.
