On World Humanitarian Day 2023, UN Honors the work of Five Local Organizations in Lebanon

Through COVID-19, the Beirut port explosions, the economic crisis, the political instability, and the Syria crisis, humanitarians in Lebanon stand strong by the side of those most in need, no matter who they are and where they are.

On World Humanitarian Day 2023, UNOCHA celebrated this occasion by presenting and honoring the work of five local organizations in Lebanon: Egna Legna, the Lebanese Red Cross, the Lebanese Union for People with Physical Disabilities, Women-Now for Development and Women’s Programs Association.   Watch the video to learn more about their dedication and commitment to serving others #NoMatterWhat.
