UN in Lebanon: Results Report 2023

In 2023, the UN continued to support Lebanon on its path to development focusing on four priority areas, namely: people, prosperity, peace and governance, and planet. At the center of our work were the people of Lebanon, including women, youth, the elderly, persons with disabilities, internally displaced people, refugees, and migrants.

2023 was the first year of the implementation of the Cooperation Framework, signed by the UN and the Government. Under this framework, and thanks to the generous support of donors, the UN has spent around 885 million USD in 2023 and implemented over 246 initiatives.
