Briefing Note on the role of Women in Agriculture in Lebanon

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, FAO Lebanon issued the fifth issue of its quarterly briefing note on the role of women in agriculture in Lebanon as a way to celebrate the important role that women play in their families and in the society. The brief highlights the challenges faced by women in the agricultural sector in Lebanon and delineates the UN Food and Agricultural Organization's interventions, response and impact in this field.
