• Beirut, 26 September 2024:The intensity of the present conflict in Lebanon has already claimed the lives of more children per day than the 2006 conflict.

• Beirut, October 1, 2024– Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon Imran Riza today launched a $426 million Flash Appeal to mobilize urgent resources for civilians affected by the escalating conflict and resulting humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. The announcement took place at the Serail in Beirut, attended by UN agencies, member states, the international community, and local and international partners.
