- Beirut, 09 March 2023 – A new national platform was launched in Lebanon today to provide young people with volunteering opportunities in their communities and empower them with equal opportunities to increase their skills and contribute to social impact. With the generous funding from the Kingdom of the Netherlands through the Prospects funding, the platform will give youth equal and inclusive opportunity access in their communities, while improving their skills and potentials.

- New York, 16 March 2023 -- The United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Joanna Wronecka and the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix today briefed the Security Council on the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701 (2006). The focus was on the report of United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, covering the period of 3 November 2022 to 20 February 2023.

- March 22, 2023 – On the occasion of World Water Day, the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Water Establishment (EBML) in partnership with UNICEF and the European Union, inaugurated the newly rehabilitated Tallet Al Khayat station, one of the oldest water pumping stations in Beirut.
